  • Exclusive and comprehensive focus on pharma companies worldwide
  • Coverage of only small-cap and mid-cap pharma companies
  • 100 small-cap/mid-cap companies selected from 600 global pharma companies
  • Each round of presentations lays a focus on 25 companies
  • Companies to present for 40 minutes with Q&A session of 20 minutes

The Edge here:

  • Small/MidCap pharmaceutical companies are not represented in major investment conferences
  • Opportunity to have the benefits and visibility of an investment conference - all online and virtual
  • Participation of multiple executives from different locations worldwide

The 100 Small/Mid-Cap pharma companies are selected based on the following sequential methodology:

Round One - 600 Companies Selected:

  • Compilation of market capitalization of 800 listed global pharma companies
  • Ranking of these 800 companies in descending order based on market capitalization
  • Exclusion of top 100 companies based on such rankings considering them as Big-Cap
  • Exclusion of bottom 100 companies based on such rankings considering them as Micro-Cap
  • Then, the remaining 600 companies were considered as a starting point for the ‘Small-MidCap’ universe.

Round Two - 300 Companies Selected:

  • For the next round, 300 companies were selected based on these 10 key indicators:
    • Composite rank (based on total sales, assets, net income, and equity for latest year in US$)
    • Sales growth rank
    • Assets growth rank
    • Profitability rank (net income to total sales)
    • Efficiency rank (total sales to total assets)
    • Market capitalization to shareholders’ equity growth
    • Gain in stock price for last 12 months
    • Shareholders’ equity to total assets
    • Research & Development expenses to total sales
    • Foreign sales to global sales
  • Each of the above indicator was ranked individually for each company and average of available rank values was used to compute deciles
  • The top 300 companies with high deciles were selected

Round Three - 100 Companies Selected:

  • From these 300 companies, deciles were computed using the quarterly financial data.
  • Then, 100 companies with high quarterly deciles were selected for inclusion in the online investment conference.
