Round One - 600 Companies Selected:
- Compilation of market capitalization of 800 listed Japanese technology companies in the following industry clusters:

- Diversified computer products
- Diversified telecom operators
- Electronic measurement & scientific instruments

- Miscellaneous communications services
- Networking & communication devices
- Networking & connectivity software
- Other software
- Security & alarm services

- Ranking of these 800 companies in descending order based on market capitalization
- Exclusion of top 100 companies based on such rankings considering them as Big-Cap
- Exclusion of bottom 100 companies based on such rankings considering them as Micro-Cap
- Then, the remaining 600 companies were considered as a starting point for the ‘Small-MidCap’ universe of Japanese Technology companies.
Round Two - 300 Companies Selected:
- For the next round, 300 companies were selected based on these 10 key indicators:
- Composite rank (based on total sales, assets, net income, and equity for latest year in US$)
- Sales growth rank
- Assets growth rank
- Profitability rank (net income to total sales)
- Efficiency rank (total sales to total assets)
- Market capitalization to shareholders’ equity growth
- Gain in stock price for last 12 months
- Shareholders’ equity to total assets
- Research & Development expenses to total sales
- Foreign sales to global sales
- Each of the above indicator was ranked individually for each company and average of available rank values was used to compute deciles
- The top 300 companies with high deciles were selected
Round Three - 200 Companies Selected:
- From these 300 companies, deciles were computed using the quarterly financial data.
- Then, 200 companies with high quarterly deciles were selected for inclusion in the online investment conference of the 200 Small/Mid-Cap Japanese Technology companies.

- 100 companies invited
- Upto 25 companies will be included on ‘first come first served’ basis for presentations from April 18th-21st, 2016.
- Four to seven companies will present daily during April 18th-21st, 2016 (Monday to Thursday)
- Presentations will take place between 8 am to 8 pm Tokyo time.
- Companies are allotted 40 minutes presentation time
- Reference material can be provided in advance
- A moderator from FinGlobe will contact company one week prior to presentation to test AV requirements
- Presentation schedule will be announced two weeks in advance for subscribers to sign-up to view presentation live
- The moderator will take questions from subscribers throughout the 40 minutes presentation and then ask such questions in a priority order to the presenting company; Q&A sessions will be for up to 20 minutes in length
- Affiliations of those asking questions will not be disclosed
- Following the presentation, the full video will be available to new subscribers for the duration of one year from date of presentation
